BUG: intro movie has corrupted audio track [Q&A GTS-1]

The intro mkv file and some of the other ones have corrupted audio tracks.
To reproduce, just install VideoLAN (VLC) and play the movie files inside of that. In the intro, you'll hear pops and cracks that are clearly audio corruption.

In the actual game, this causes all audio after the pop to be distorted and noisy.

See Known Issues in the Q&A thread at the top of the forum. You can get around it by playing in windowed mode or disabling VSync. It's interesting that you say it also exhibits the same problem in VLC though.
