Hey,
I have a Gigaurum Container ship which I set to pick up some trade goods in an Albion station (I think its in Lookout Alpha sector I am not sure. All I know is that its picking up some Food Rations)
It has no weapons and it was flying through PMC space so I decided to meet it at the Jump Gate to Devris. I met with it at the jump gate and started following it. I followed it for about 2 hours.
The link below shows some images that describe the situation. The first shows the Gigurum ship details, the second the fact that it had a planned trip, the third our location by the end of the two or so hours (the small green arrow) and fourth a picture of it sitting in space not moving.
Note that the big green thing in the third image is likely my construction ship which is also in my squad.

So my question is why has the Gigurum ended up at this location? Is this a bug? I am happy to provide any other information if it will help work this out. I just would like to understand the behavior.
Some things I tried
1) Adding / Removing the ship from my squad.
2) Giving the ship ample distance (to check if it was just trying to follow me)
Edit : This isn't a spoiler so removed the tag. Also I think this is a bug so going to label it as such.
Edit 2 : Also this ship should be heading for Even Temper to pick up some Food Rations. If you look at the sector map image its almost traveling in the opposite direction.

How is the ship on fuel for jumps? I've heard that the AI ships will check for fuel and if they can't jump they will default to just impulse speeds. Then they will fly the endless expanse between zones at snail speeds. Once in a while they seem to activate a booster far faster than ours, but not too often. I've found many capital ships limping through the emptiness of space after jumping too many times and the captain AI not getting more jump fuel.

The ship has no fuel. But the ship also has no jump drive.
It is a small ship. Small enough that it looks like it should just be using the space highways. There is a screenshot of the ship in the link I provided.
It would be ok if the ship was flying in some meaningful way towards the location of the trade goods, but I cant make sense of where it is going.
