Happy Face, Sad Face Followed by Dissapointed Face and Finally Angry Face

Title just about sums up my Weekend.

I don't want to rant as the X Games have always give me a lot of Happiness, along with frustration, but these forums and Egosofts support for patching and fixing bugs is impressive However!!!

I pre-ordered the Game, Got home and withing 20 mins first crash, expected it as these games have a tendency to CTD, but it's the actual gameplay that's bugging me most,

It's a cross between Mass Effect/Freelancer/Borderlands, the Menu system with both Xbox controller and Mouse and Keyboard is awful, they have took what was an already long process in menus and somehow made them longer and more annoying.

I know a lot of us was expecting an X4 and i understand that Egosoft told us it wasn't, they told us the changes and i was happy with them, however they have completely changed the game and in my opinion should never have called it X anything, this is going to damage their image, it's going to damage our trust and ultimately it will damage their Pockets in the long run.

This game is neither what we as fans asked and wanted, it's not an X game, the mechanics have changed too much, the trade system, the Mission system, i mean i spent the best part of an hour flying around looking for missions, i don't want to do this, especially when we don't have Seta and the shield generator does not last the crack, but the main thing they changed was our freedom to fly different ships, they took an idea that was promoted 10 years ago (Freelancer) and in my honest opinion they have fell even behind it.

I booked a day off work to play this game, like i did with Reunion & TC, so not only have i lost £39.99 on this fake game i have also lost a holiday day, If i wanted to play Freelancer i would, if i wanted to play Mass Effect i would, and if i wanted to open random boxes of loot i would play borderlands yet they promoted this as an X game, they advertised it as an X game, they promised us an X Game, and they failed to live up to any of these.
