How to fly/move EVERYTHING?!

How can I move my other ships?
Yes its a serious question,
what do I miss here?
I have no clue how to move anything,
how can I move my ships to other sectors?
Make them Dock at stations,other ships?

You can't directly move ships, there way of streamlining the games menu system.

needles to say we need a mod that ports over the menu system from x3AP

Yes I have,!
I can only move my squad with me and the rest of my fleet is just standing/hovering/whatever there?
It's ridiculus

My cap ships don't launch fighter drones or attack if they get attacked, yes they have eng, captain and defence dudes on them AI is none existent.

It seems Ego decided folks no longer wanted real fleets and an empire.

1 direct-control ship, with a nagging wife in a passenger seat and as much trouble as possible trying to coordinate any actions for any other property we own.

This is one of the major factors shocking me so far. I read everything leading up to this release. They constantly described how improved it is, how actions are refined for immersion, how previous menus were too complicated for some people so they found far superior ways to accomplish the same things as before but in a better way.

I don't see any of that so far. Only thing I see is they just put us all on the short-bus, to make it easier for them, not us. Not good.

I look at it as an engine with many things that can be changed, taken away and added, think of how good it will be once the modding community gets there teeth into this.

refined AI.

Captains that you can give direct orders to (move to, stop here ect).

Fleet orders.

Proper Traders.

Coms with people inside stations so you don't have to dock all the time.

Boarding that works better.

Cancel Trade order command.

blah blah.

Anyway look to the X modding community because it is VASTER than any X universe

I know man, the community (myself included) will look to straighten out the mess, but we shouldn't have to depend on that immediately for absolutely everything.

Instead of the enhancements that come early in normal cycles, we'll now need a complete overhaul, far sooner than normal.

Oh well.
