This isn't a big deal as you can just skip the intro anyways, but you rendered the wrong file type. Video files are MKVs.

As someone mentioned already, making a shortcut to the game EXE and adding -skipintro at the end will simply skip intros.

I think this could also be done in Steam via startup commands section.

Indeed it can. Rightclick the game in the steam list, properties, general tab. Click "Set launch options..." put -skipintro in there. OK. Done. Game starts without Intro.

If you press Esc on startup as soon as iceberg start and you go straight to menu no need for a mod this all so work with info vids.
