Disappearing Gigurum

My Gigurum bulk freighter vanishes when it a few seconds after I load my quicksave, I watch it travel the highway in the map and then poof it disapears and is no longer in my property list.

I also get a massive slow down right before it disappears, down to about 5 fps.
