Hi Guys,
I have been playing the previous games on a late 2011 Macbook Pro 1gb Video RAM version
CPU 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
GPU Radeon HD 6770M
8GB Ram
http://support.apple.com/kb/SP644?viewl ... cale=en_US
Has anyone tried it on a similar spec machine? Any point in me buying the game? Everyone talks about performance issues and presumably most people are on powerful desktop machines.
Thanks
Ian
Macbook Pro (late 2011) is it worth me buying rebirth?

Considering High-Spec rigs run the game terribly for no reason, you might have better luck than the rest of us.
As a matter of fact, most people with older mid-level machines report better success.
64-Bit OS, 8Gb Ram and 1gb Vram? I see no reason why you should have trouble with this game "in theory".

My system is iMac late 2011(or mid? dunno)
I belive I have similar specs. with HD6970M (2GB) as the video card.
I get 20~30 FPS (some as low as 17FPS) depending on places with lowest settings on 1600x900 resolution
I think your system would not be able to handle x:rebirth just now....
Maybe the devs will fix it later on.
Still, I'm enjoying the gameplay for now
