i cant open the option for the galaxy editor after installing 1.3/downloading the mod kit, i went into the main menu as it said I started typing thereshallbewings.... everytime i get to the key s it starts a brand new game from the start and fades away from the main menu.... what the heck am i doing wrong?

It's just like the script editor.....hold down shift hit the 't' key let go of shift and type the rest of it.

i did it just like the script editor.... each time it goes like, shift T shift h e r e s....... and a new game begins

Well the Shift-h is your problem. It should be Shift-T h e r.... etc.

The in game Script Editor can be enabled by typing "Thereshallbewings" (note capital on the first letter) while stationary in space or flying through space. You should hear a ping when it is enabled. No menus should be open (if any menus are open, it will not work). The actual editor can then be activated from the command menu (Shift-C).

It helps to type VERY slow

Same way, except type it in the Start,Load,etc menu. Then click Start, Galaxy Editor should be at the bottom of the select difficulty menu.

Im at the main menu, the menu after the intro cinematic plays with start load sim, ya di ya di ya
I type as follows
"<shift>T<release shift>h e r e s"....... immediately after hitting s a load screen comes up followed by the "Argon prime, 5 months later" intro cinematic, ie it starts a new game...
Ive downloaded and installed the 1.3US patch 3 or 4 times, ive reinstalled completely and upgraded.... it ALWAYS starts the new game when i get to s.....

what the heck is going on with that?

Lose the caps, its not cool

and also, thats not correct, thats how to activate the Script Editor he wants to activate the Galaxy Editor

make sure you arnt just typing "Theres" and also MAKE SURE you dont have the Caps Lock on.

"Thereshallbewings" is the complete code, come on guys, its not so hard to type it all completely now isnt it

well, according to you're experience the S key is the hotkey for the start game menu, this is probable only because the game isnt registering your Capital T, if it does, then no menu should appear at all, none at all, only the main menu, keep trying if it continues to refuse, and dont bother reinstalling, this isnt that serious.

Actually, when I first started 1.3, it took a few tries to get the Thereshallbewings to take and I thought there was a bug, but I finally started the game, went into space, typed "Thereshallbewings" until I got the script editor, quit and restarted and then the galaxy editor was there wating for me in a secondary menu after I hit 'start'.
