[X3TC] Massive LAG
Guys I am now 32 hours into TC and I just suddenly started experiencing massive LAG in SETA that had not been present before. I have a screaming fast Alienware M17X Laptop with a high end graphics card which are way beyond the design specs of this product. What is happening?

Not sure but although a good gfx certainly helps the x games are known to be tough on the cpu. You may want to post you diagx in the tech support forum. Maybe there is a driver or mem issue.

Check your power settings, sometimes on laptops the power settings will get messed up and it switches to power saver or something. My gaming power setting on my laptop differs rediculously from power save mode or even unplugged gaming. Laptops are finicky, thats what I would blame. Also you could make sure that stupid automatic updates aren't doing something. I noticed that they substantialy slowed down my game and the problems went away as soon as it was done its updates.
