Cheat program apk question

If I running AP through Steam to play, how do I install the cheat code program and WHERE do I put the files?

That doesn't answer my question. If I'm running the game through Steam is there an area for me to install the software too. I new to this type of manipulation of program(s).
Where does the apk file go and in what directory?

Please explain.

Besides this forum is difficult to find anything in. To many subjects in an area that aren't related.

You can install the Plugin Manager where you like. Once installed, run it once and it will automatically detect your game installation. .spk is an archive type, which contains the script and/or mod files. Where you put that file is not important, as the Plugin Manager will extract it to your game installation automatically.

You for that clearifaction. Now one other questions. Will this same program work on the new game coming out in Nov.? Or will there have to be a whole new version created.

Without any adjustments, it won't work with X Rebirth. I don't know, if Cycrow planned anything with regards to that.

I ran into sort of the same issue. Even though the plugin manager detects the Steam installation, adding mods works, but adding ships does not show up in the game. Works fine on regular windows or linux/wine install.

Try installing the xsp ships to both the X3TC and the addon folder.
