Corrupt Game File on MAC Platform

I worked really hard getting argon race rank status back after a year of clobbering them where ever I saw them. Until I was in enduring light or wastelands steaming along with building & what not when I went to load a manual save & corrupted save file dialog box... With the game crashing to the desktop. Well I'm going to do a repair permissions, then a cache clear with a restart later & to make matters like this even worse this just when I'm out the door. So I know I'll get... Oh well never mind just some intelligent help from someone who has a Mac or has encountered this recently

While we can't really help you much with the original VP port of the game, I can tell you that we are nearly ready to start testing our own port. I don't know if that will solve your problem, once it's available, but it would at least be worth trying if you don't manage to sort it out some other way.

I just wonder what in the world would render game save files corrupt because I have this massive military power & just equipped 30 Fenrirs on a Woden & then this... Well I sure will wait so I can put an end to the war so I càn move back in asteroid belt like I am in TC
will there be a Mac version of the bonus pack as well because I had to copy files from the PC & insert them on the Mac

Other than the obvious possibility of actual corruption on the disk, corrupt save files are normally a result of trying to load a savegame into an older version of the game than the one they were created with, or into an unmodified game when the savegame was created with a modified one.

The expected presence or not of the correct Bonus Pack may make a difference too, depending partly upon what scripts and jobs the save expects to be active and what it actually finds in the gamefiles.
