Call me a dumbass but how do you use the galaxy editor?

Topic speaks for itself...no documentation according to the X Tools help file...great I thought, I'll just load up the GE from X2 and have a tinker with the options and try and learn it myself...oh wait, I can't as there are no options to tinker with...ah great. Help? Please?

while in the main menu of the game loading go in to the start game sub menu and type Remember the capital "T"hereshallbewing and a new option will apear with galixy editor
