Can't progress in X3AP 3.0 plots (Spoilers present)

I'm not sure if my plots have broke or not, so let me set the scene here and throw it out to the experts here.

Right, first off, X3AP ver 3.0 vanilla

Currently have the 3 new plots on the go. I have a message from the corp. owner to contact her about corp. business, but when I go to the station, there is now no longer a "blue book" icon like there used to be. I CAN comm her, but I only get the three standard options of where is shipyard or EQ dock etc. currently at rep 5 in this and the last thing I did was win the auction.

destroying the asteroid and revealing the gate, I was told to contact a person in Neptune on the orbital defence station.

When I get there, again no blue book icon and that person is NOT on the station.

I'm currently waiting on the heavy dragon being upgraded or whatever in the other plot.

I'm not sure if I have to wait for this one to get to a certain event before the other ones can progress, or if my plots are indeed broke. Any ideas anyone?

You get a message that your actions were noticed and that they will want to contact you later.
There is a time delay before they ask you to meet them.

Have you had both messages?

Thanks for getting back to me TTD, I was beginning to lose hope!

Regarding spoiler 1:

I've got both messages, the second one saying to go there "at my earliest convenience" but still no blue book and the person isn't aboard the station.

Regarding spoiler 2:

This isn't an issue as I've progressed in that plot line and am now in possession of the ship.

I can't progress with the corporation troubles plot because of the issue stated in my original post, no blue book icon, although the person is on the station BUT when I comm her I only get the usual "where is shipyard/EQ dock" etc.

Exactly the message I got. But, like I said, when I target the station, no blue book icon, the person in question is NOT aboard. Same result even when I DOCK with the station. That person is not there and I cannot progress in the plot line. Similar issue with the corporation troubles, only she is there but won't give me the plot related response options.

I'm thinking these plots may have to be reset somehow, as an earlier save is now out of the question. I seem to remember Ketrar (excuse incorrect spelling) did some MD scripts to do this, but that was a ways back and probably won't be for these new missions?

Edit: just another point of note, there's no listing for the two "problems" in "my missions" list either.

Have you docked at the required station in a TL with Cargo life support?
That is often what stalls this part of the mission regarding the gate

The other one is on a timer while the ship is modified.

Heheh, was in the process of trying that just before you replied!

No joy, docked in an Elephant, equipped with life support, jumpdrive, energy and a few other bits and pieces, but still had 30,000 space left. The person is STILL not there.

BTW, I've got the Acinonyx prototype in my HQ, there's no issue with that plot.

Do you have a save game we can look at ?

I can only test to see what else comes to mind,but those who worked closer to it than I did may be able to dive deeper.
