I'd have posted this in the tech support forum, but apparently, I don't have "special permission" or somethingorother.
It just started today; I load a game, poke around a bit and eventually find that my right-strafe key ("D") appears to be sticking. It's bearable, until I want to SETA, 'cuz the strafe cancels it immediately. I can save and reload to solve the issue...temporarily. I'll tentatively say that it happens after undocking, but I haven't 100% confirmed. I'm using a keyboard and mouse. It's a "Saitek Eclipse" KB, and an old-ass (still USB tho) Logitech trackball mouse.
Sound familiar to anyone?
EDIT: Well, I think I figured out the Tech-Support Forum issue, now that I've registered...if anyone cares to move the post?

Sounds like an issue with your keyboard or with Windows, honestly.
As far as I know, the game doesn't have other stuff bound to wasd, but you can check if you go into Options and check the keybinds. And the key shouldn't stick.
You may want to turn off, in Windows, sticky keys. Control Panel - Ease of Access - Make Keyboard Easier to Use in Windows 7.

1: I've confirmed that it's after I dock. Load the save (or "docking-autosave") and problem solved...until I dock again.
2: I'll check it, but I'm pretty sure I don't have sticky keys turned on (Windows 8 Pro, btw). The only place I've ever seen an issue is right here, right now. I've been playing long enough to get my pokey noob-ass through the Terran Plot.
I imagine I could just turn off the WASD key bindings...but I'm a strafe-junkie, and will die like the noob I am without it. I'll do what I have to do, but I'd rather not.

After playing around with it:
-- It's not just when I dock. It also appears that it happens whenever I hit (hold?) "D". I went out, blew up a Duke's Transport, and the problem started after I started circling it in my Cutlass.
-- I went and reloaded my default key binding setup "generalstuffs", which I have used since day one, and the problem *seems* to have been resolved. I have no idea how on Earth I would have accidentally altered something in there while at work today, but hey...if it works, it works.
You'll hear from me again if I didn't actually fix it.

OK, problem NOT solved.
As far as I can tell, it happens whenever there's a transition of any kind, i.e., docking, jumping or passing through a gate. It also seems to happen any time I try to use "D" to strafe. It's kind of like I'm using a joystick that's improperly calibrated.
-I thought maybe it was my gamepad (Logitech xbox something), so I disabled it and nothing changed. I'll try just unplugging it, but I don't expect that to do anything. I'll make an announcement if it does, however.
EDIT:
Well, maybe that did it. I'll poke it with some more sticks, but I'm thinking that maybe I was still getting some sort of feedback from the gamepad, even though I had it disabled(?).
