They are Command Line Tools if in WinXP (use it with "command.com") or in Win98 use the DOS Window for it. Another way to operate them is to make a patch file to use them.

They work for me.

You see how Windows 95 on up has corrupted people? Nobody remembers how to use commands to start programs or how to navigate directories without a GUI......I remember getting DOOM to load in the old Pentium I 100mhz by squeezing 620k out of my computer's memory.......I feel old now..... :(

You feel old? I remember COMMODORE64 commands and thinking... "what in the world would I need a million bytes for!? Most I ever use is 600 or less!"

Amiga... 'nuff said :) You're not old. A Hex editor was my first modding tool on an old Apple II.... a disk track and sector editor.. Woohoo.
Actually I mostly use Linux and love the command line. I loved making Win3.11 do things it could't normally do.

Plus I would say it's easier to code command line programs without having to mess with windows GUI much......a lot nicer IMO

Heh, I'm old enough to be able to use it but young enough to prefer having to wave the mouse about a bit and click a couple of times over typing in the full directory name.
