Moving to new system

Post by Eamoe »

Hi all,

I just completed my move from an

ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo / Intel Core 2 Quad / WinXP SP3

to an

ASUS Sabertooth X79 / Intel i7 3930K / Win7 SP1

system.

I would like to ask you fans out there:
1. can I transfer my X3TC games to the new machine?
2. if yes, what's the best practice to do so?

I haven't undertaken reinstalling X3TC yet. It's sitting patiently on the shelf. Thought I'd seek proper advice first.

1. Yes you can, provided you have the same game version and scripts/mods installed.
2. Simply copy them over. The place where the savegames on the different Operating Systems are stored is mentioned in this FAQ article.
