Lost Gamepad on Switching Windows in AP 3.0 - Workaround disable 'run in background'.

I've never had this problem until the 3.0 update (which is awesome, btw), but whenever I switch between windows / minimize the game, I no longer have control with my gamepad.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional and a Thrustmaster Firestorm 3.

I'm using a vanilla install with the vanilla bonus pack.

I'm not using any of the new gamepad settings (I think). I'm using the custom controls profile I setup from before 3.0.

Anyone know what gives? Thanks.

Hi, the X3AP 3.0 devs think that could be similar to a normal joystick issue that happens after Alt/Tab with 3.0. They will try to recreate and address the problem and get back to us.

One user had a joystick Alt/Tab issue improved by turning OFF the game 'run in background' option. I don't know if that could apply or help in your case.

Yes! Turning off "Run in Background" fixed the problem.

A fix for this joystick/controller loss of focus on Alt/Tab has been found and will be incorporated into the next X3AP update whenever that is released.
