Will X2 be Eye Goggle compatible?

Post by RustiSwordz »

With all this talk of Cougar Joystics and lush X2 visuals, has Egosoft considered including having X2 with a function to be used with Game Goggles?

Looking around your cockpit just watching a beauty pass of an Argon Mega Transporter or searching for that elusive badguy off your six o'clock.

Just a thought cos i dont think anyone mentioned it before and x2 seems perfect for Goggle usage.

Do you mean virtual reality goggles? or those lcd glasses that make the screen 3d?

(I'm guessing the first. which would be awesome! :D )

Well, those glasses I mentioned work with all directX games, supposedly. (I saw one of them with Tomb Raider. It was reeeeeeeally 3d! ;)

to be more accurate 3d shutter glasses work with any game that supports z-buffer so distance calculations can be done.

for virtual reality glasses i would guess that they would work
presumably they function like 3d shutters expect they produce a seperate image for each eye as aposed to switching between a left and a right eye image on the screen very quickly
