cant get a non steam exe for running a mod game?

cant get a non steam exe for running a mod game?

im sure there is a thread explaining this perfectly but i cant find it :?

i've got as far as copying the TC folder in the stream folder to my second hard drive but im not sure what to do from there i want to keep my seam game but i want a second TC to run a modded game

ok did all that and think i got it so now the one should be a vanilla game and the one i did this stuff to on my second hard drive i should be able to mod without worrying about steam updating and messing up my mods?

ok so a managed to get both games running but there saving to the same doc folder???? can i fix that???

That's the correct behaviour, so no you can't "fix" it. However, you could try mrbadger's X3 Savegame Manager.
