1.3 & Mod Compatability

I haven't upgraded to 1.3 . . . and don't know if I will due to the annoyances people have been reporting. Furthermore, I running some mods, the Xai Jumpdrive in particular and do not want to screw up my game by installing 1.3. Does anyone know how patching will affect the Xai Jumpdrive mod (since the new patch includes equivolent jumpdrive commands).

And another question. What other mods are people generally using to improve/streamline gameplay ?

I'm using Xai's jumpdrive commands, AWES and station accountant with version 1.3 without any problems so far.

Is there anywhere to download egosoft's mk3 trade software anoymore, or do i need to do the patch?
