Just spotted 3 new achievements on Steam Breaking Ground, Incorporated and Dirty Deeds - Must be 3.0 any word Ego?

Yeah I think I'll try and get back into X3AP properly without cheats. Hard to avoid using them seeing them there lol.

Alright, thanks. I'm hesitant to get AP for now, as Linux support isn't ready yet, and I really don't want to start a game in TC and not be able to continue from that save once AP comes to Linux.

You can't continue an X3TC savegame in X3AP anyway, so that's not a relevant factor.

As it happens though, an initial Beta version of X3AP is also imminent. Whether it will be made available at the same time as 3.0 or not depends on whether they are both ready.

If the X3R and X3TC Linux beta versions are anything to go by, I expect it will be available to anyone who has X3AP.

Save games are always compatible after a patch.

Assuming you are running un-modified. If you are running any mods or scripts (probably with the exception of the Bonus pack) then there is always a risk that you will need to restart.

You say "here's glass of water to prevent hiccups." Also, "make sure to keep your index finger pressed on the spot right under your nose, also to prevent hiccups."

Check the the global acheivements no just your own, it states they are coming soon. I picked it up when I noticed I had 29 of 33 achievements in the personal achievements page thought I only needed Xtreme Fighter, obviously not now!

All I can say is that achievements are pointless lol. Most achievements I've seen since this gig started are almost always idiotic and I couldn't see them as actual achievements even if I tried really hard. 9 out of 10 times achievements are milestones... kill 50 of x... do y z times. Scratch your ass 10 times while jumping etc.

Now capping I... with spacewalk... LOL. Thats something. Breaking 3 m1s with a single tractor beam asteroid slingshot. Anyway... playing x games w/o extra tweaking feels like a crime against universe.

And I think hearing soon just got me finally riled up >_< Ughhh now I can't bloody wait. And I still can't decide on my 3.0 start >_> Terran vs. CW. Wish terrans weren't made out to be total duches in plot.
