Working mods.

Has anyone managed it yet?

I've tried to modify the 1.3 Osprey to let me use my GPSGs and when I compile everything the select mod package doesn't come up.

Edit 2: I can get the gzip>pck working fine but when I try to use x2build I just end up with a 0 byte .dat file and a cat file than when uncompressed just references the .dat file.

my .rct files contains only the line
types\Tships.pck
Is this right or am I missing something here?

Edit 3: Got it to compile the cat/dat file then spent half an hour wondering why it wouldn't show up. Reread the docs and created a mod folder and it showed up :headbang:. Now all I have to do is stop it crashing to desktop.

Edit 4: Looks like I can compile the Tships.txt file but if I try to uncompile my version it crashes. Looks like my laser mask may be wrong.

Edit 5: I tried decrypting, encrypting, decrypting the official tships file and x2tool crashed. It's either a buggy tool or (more likely) I'm doing something wrong.

Bump. I'm off to bed now, hopefully by the time I wake up someone will have got a working mod that I can use as a base.
