Hello,
I reciently was gifted with a T. Flight Hotas X Joystick. Its a nice device but I have some problems using it within X3:TC.
a) Throttle axis simply doesn't work (neither 4 nor 5 axis configuration profile)
b) Rudder via rocking button (5th axis) only accelerate or decelerate when I keep the button pushed. If I release the buttons, the ship's speed comes back to 0
I tried many configurations and setups, but I'm unable to make that work. I'm starting to thinking to use a joy-keyb mapping application :/

Hello. For the throttle issue, try the illogical step of setting the 'use throttle' checkbox to unchecked in the game's initial small opening splash-screen 'input device' options.
For the other issue, and just as something to try with no guarantees, see if changing 'automatically level out' and 'deadzone' settings under in-game Options, Controls make any difference.
Otherwise you can browse the X-game posts of others using the stick by putting 'T Flight Hotas X' into the exact wording section of this.
Good luck.

Thank you!
The throttle checkbox trick worked
Now I can use the throttle, but the rudder buttons (5th axis) now does not work at all unless I use the 4 axis configuration, where I can use the rudder buttons like a timon.
Also, the throttle, when placed in the neutral position, sets the ship's speed at 70, not at 0. Is this a normal behaviour?
I can live using the rudder buttons as a timon, but the issue with the throttle center position annoys me a bit.
P.D: I cant "calibrate" this joystick. The control panel does not have that option.
P.D: I searched through the forum before my first question, but it seems that I didn't use the rigth question in the advanced search :/
P.D: tried the automatically level out and deadzone settings with no luck.
Thank you!
