Nope - content free posts don't count. Say something outrageously controversial like, "when the USA says jump we don't all have to ask, how high?"

Iraq: "Powell's report was a magic show with special effects"
United States: "Game Over."
North Korea: "We will launch a pre-emptive strike"

Is that Red Alert 2 they're playing?

Just for Steve so we can try and wrap two subjects into one :D

The politics of the middle east I always assumed was driven by its fanatical religious leaders....

This in my opinion, is worth reading:

http://www.mikehersh.com/article_28.shtml

...Scott Ritter was the former UN Chief Weapons inspector in Iraq. 1991-1998. He later resigned when he discovered that UN operatives were part of a spying US team.

Contrary to popular mythology, weapons inspectors were not kicked out of Iraq by Saddam Hussein. Weapons inspectors were ordered out by the US government, 2 days before a unilateral bombing campaign began (aka Operation Desert Fox)...

A personal view, i think the war is about money, in particular the *$* global oil commerce is aligned with the dollar.
As of late Iraq has chosen to deal with the Euro at the same time Saudi billions have been pulled from the US economy and is being reinvested in Europe, this is not good for the US economy 8) Europe probably will become a superstate with a haegemony on global oil, assuming the middle east remains fragmented as it is at present. :) N.W.O. agendas bubbling in the background, religeous fundamentalists on all sides doing what they do best etc 8)

Looks to me like Dubya/US are fairly predominant in this thread.

This is a holy communication to all the blessed members of the mouth foaming holy jihad:

This is the season of the shell hole in the forehead, it is out duty to kill many American and British Infidels or at least die screaming in agony from capitalist presision weaponry all in the name of paradise and the one we stick out bums up at 30 times a day!

Allah is Blessed, God is Great, We are all Bonkers.

Well yes 'oil' is a part of the global economy but the war is about *economics* namely US economics, the $ and it's continued dominance of global markets.

All wars are caused by *economics* morals etc are irrelevant, just part of the propaganda 8)
