X3AP Crashing playing Terran or going into Terran sectors? - Fixed by verify.

Hi, I have a problem with X3 i have albion prelude. It seems to be crashing when i go into Terran sectors every thing else is fine. I cant even start a game as Terran it comes up with an unexpected error. I origionaly bought X3 terran conflict from EB games but got the Prelude expansion off steam please give me some suggestions on what to do. I have registered the origional X3 terran conflict on this site as steam recomends but still no dice what should i do ?

You'll need to read the first post at the top of this forum. Then post the information required, as this makes it easier for everyone to assist.

With regard to your issue, try the steps below to reverify the Steam game caches for TC and AP, in that order:

Right click on X3: Terran Conflict in your Steam Library and select properties.
Click the local files tab and select verify game cache (trying to do this from memory, so the names of the options may vary slightly.).
Let the process finish, then repeat it for X3: Albion Prelude.

Retest the issues you're having and let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the quick response tried the fix and is all good thanks it was about a 2gb correction to X3 terran conflict albion was ok.
