Conflict:ReadText1903-10787 - Vanilla minor issue.

Hi, I have been setting up my controls and for some reason I get this error when trying to map "Comms" to my "3" key. The errors only appear to be related to the number keys and range from 1903-10784 to 1903-10793 (0-9).

The stupid thing is, I checked a control that works in ALL menus and I can bind the "3" key just fine with no errors

The game was modded and I thought this was the root of the problem but after deleting all files from my game directory/documents area and restoring a vanilla backup the error persists.

That happens in my pure vanilla games as well if you try to reassign any function (not just comms) to a number key whether top row or numberpad. I guess it should be calling up a message along the lines of 'You cannot reassign the number keys as they are hard-coded for other uses' or something similar and that message has slipped out of various updates.

Key options other than the numbers seem to work fine.

Seems to be a Vanilla game problem, as I get those messages in a Vanilla install as well and can't find the texts anywhere. As this only happens with keys in the Game -> Ships and stations tab I can only guess, that the reason for this is to prevent a conflict with the trade / transfer money bar. In the menus, which have such a bar you can change the step size with the number keys.

Ah ok. At least now I know my game install is fine

Will just modify my mouse buttons to something other than numbers.
