Game is behaving strangely. In certain games / starts, ships weapons don't fire. Nothing happens. Other starts, ships fire fine. Terran start has camera in middle of ship so space is seen through wireframe ship.
Game often doesn't start from shortcut. Nothing happens after clicking. Other times it does. Same behavior starting from Plugin Manager.
Some xsp ships are invisible. May show up after uninstalling, installing.
General buggy behavior.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled, with no results. Using Steam versions.

Pretty much all of those symptoms are typical of issues caused by installing and uninstalling mods, starting savegames that were made with different mods to those currently installed and so on. As such you need to take the issue over to the Scripts and Modding forum, to be dealt with by the creators of the mod(s) you are using.
If you have a problem with the unmodified game, by which I mean both X3TC and X3AP need to be clean installations that have not been messed about with, and on which you have started a new game from scratch, then by all means post again here in Tech Support. If you do so then please also provide the information requested in the very first thread in this forum, as any attempt to help you without it will be little more than guesswork.
