This issue was a bit different from others that I read, so not sure if it was covered elsewhere. As a back story, I purchased the X Superbox BEFORE the release of Albion Prelude. Now that it is included ... it shows I can PLAY it, but it doesn't seem to be working. It just loads Terran Conflict when I run it. Not sure what I need to do in order to PLAY the prelude at this point.
The X Superbox in Steam shows that Albion Prelude is included as well.
Thanks!

I got superbox before AB and have dowloading Ab and have played it. I remember having some difficulties getting it. I can't rememebr what they are, but I believe it had to do with reinstalling steam. I also remember having to do some registering stuff. ack if I remember how I got it all to work I will come back.
Reinstall steam and register your superbox with this site. See if that works. it does not look like your game is registered.

AP runs off a separate exe, look in your TC directory and see if there's an exe labeled X3AP.
Also, is your copy of TC is your Steam directory? When I tried to downloaded my copy, Steam didn't recognize that I already had a disc copy installed because it was installed outside of the Steam directory. I ended up having to download and install my Superbox copy of TC first.
This is taken from the FAQ just in case that's your problem.

Just pull (or copy/paste) the whole TC file out and put it in the steamapps\common file, that way steam will see that you have a copy of TC already and you won't have to download a whole other copy of TC like I did.A full installation of X3: Terran Conflict is around 8Gb, so downloading after activation may take a while! You should be able to shorten this process considerably by first copying the entire contents of your current X3:Terran Conflict installation (by default C:\Program Files\Egosoft\X3 Terran Conflict) to the appropriate Steam folder (by default C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\x3 terran conflict). A similar approach should work for other games in the X-Superbox.

Thanks for the posts/suggestions.
This was a Steam purchase .. so the replies that had the "retail" context don't exactly work in this case.
For the Steam specific ones. Yes my install for TC is located in my "...Steam\steamapps\common\x3 terran conflict" directory (as I downloaded and installed TC from Steam).
Read that under Library - Tools in Steam there is a "X-SuperBox Bonus Material" option for the DLC. Going to try that now.

No that Bonus material would be the 3rd Party mods, scripts and documents etc included in the SuperBox.
The adding of X3AP to your 'owned game' catalogue (not its download though) should have been automatic on release of X3AP. If it is there then you need to download it and if necessary have Steam update it before you can play it. To jog Steam into doing so, you may have to right-click on X3AP in the Steam Client, select properties, select Local Files tab, and then click on verify ...
If it is not there in the games list you should confirm that your SuperBox is properly registered with Steam even though it came from there (it is with this forum). Try getting your SuperBox registration code from your forum profile page and registering it with Steam (again?) to see if that unlocks AP. Make sure you copy it from the display so you do not confuse similar characters.
If none of this works then open a Steam support ticket about it.
