[Steam - AP] Any way to play on PC and MAC?

I recently discovered that AP can be played on MAC, which delighted me to no end as my MAC has far better specs than my PC.

However, I seemed to have run into a little snag, as the Steam version of AP that I have does not seem to allow me to play it on my MAC, yet there is AP, in the Apple ap store.

Now, I would prefer not to have to buy another copy of a game I already own just to install it on another of my computers.

Does anyone know how to get my Steam version of AP installed and running on my MAC? Or will Steam eventually release AP under it's 'Games for Mac' section? If Steam does do that, will I be able to finally install the game on my Mac without having to pay for it again?

The Mac version is not available from Steam. Whether it is in future is up to its developers, Virtual Programming.
