I use IE6 and Netscape7. I have no particular problems with either; they both have their own features and quirks. I rarely have crashes with either, but I would say IE is least stable.

Installing Netscape should not cause you problems with IE, so I suggest that you just give it a go.

Netscape is a vile abomination against mankind that should be destroyed immediately (I say this because it doesn't like the table set on my website).

I would also opt for opera as it has lots of new features as well as popup blocking. And why don't you want to use IE?

I dumped everything else in favor of IE6 I have never ever had a crash or problem with it. What's the problem? I went from Netscape to IE6 and have never regretted it.

I'm with Jedi here. What the Opera freaks (:-)) always fail to mention is that you have to pay for that browser, either using real cash money or by having Annoying Ads (tm) appear while you're using it, and personally I can't REMEMBER the last time IE6 crashed on me. 'Course, I use XP, whereas it's possible they're still using 98 or some other toy operating system...

when i 1st ever got the net i installed netscape browser off some demo disk i had, and i used that for months, then it just one day decided to not work so i was forced to install IE, i hated it, but i had to get used to it..and im still using it today and i wouldnt go back
