Invincibility or limited invincebility

Just wondering if there is or where can I find a mod or script that gives invincebility or limited invincebility?

These controls are worse than freelancer and I keep getting killed, over 140 times already and this is on easy mode.

Difficulty settings only effect the kit you have at the start, it does not affect the Artificial Inteligence or make the game harder.

Try 3 75MW shields!

How to turn a Nova into a tank..

Shame it still cant fly faster than a drunken spacefly zapped up the backside by an Ion D.

But there is a good possibilty that you can drive it into a Split Dragon and the Dragon would come off worse!

Thats assuming you can catch the Dragon of course :rant:

if you add in yer script a higher nr of engine upgrades than normally provided for the argon by the shipyards, tradingstations and equipment docks you can make it go a "tad" faster...

Ever flown an Argon Titan that can attain speeds of 4000+ m/s and has a rudder response of over 50?

if you are in to modding the "TShips" file you can achieve "God" mode

simply by changing values in the (ss_sh_a_m3a) line for novas (note affects all novas in the game), you can add 12, 125 mw shields to it, boost its hull to 1.5 million and have it equipt Gamma PPC's if you like, heck for that matter you could even increase the cargobay to 100,000 units and allow it to fire the hornet missle or what ever you prefer and keep on hand 50,000 missles, with the revealing of the TShips file by Shadowtech and others, the possibilities are endless (if you want it to only affect your ship use the X-Shuttle), and then script a shuttle thats one BAD Boy!

Well am not into modding, so would not know where to begin to start in the first place. :wink:

Never assume that everyone that plays X2 is a modder.

Hmm okay. Wondering if you can do this for "all" Argon Ships only and set it up similiar as your create ship mod? (Very good turning rate and fast speed especially for the larger ship transport or combat ships), invincible shields and hulls, on some of the larger combat vessels would be neat to have forward mounts that player can use and fire and leave the turrets as autofire.


Of course mod like this, will most likly try it on either hard or extreme. :lol:

Will this effect the storyline?

For example does one really need to use that Argon Express that Terracrop HQ gives you or can one use a created Argon Express from this "invincible" or other create.ship mod?

Also can it be possible for invincilibility to work in astronount (aftering ejecting from ship) mode?

and....
any way of ensuring that your modded ship isn't of a type accessible to the game itself..

in other words, i am cack at this game and if i go and get a super duper ship, the rest of the game will have access to it also, thus cancelling out my meagre (!) advantage.

also, when i've been in combat, i've never managed to actually destroy anything apart from those squash mines using missiles. when ever i try to 'laser' atttack, the other ships ssem so fast, and the 'lead' targetting thing...i NEVER amanage to shoot anything down.

and i was excellent in elite!

Yes, mod the X-Shuttle for your purposes, i did and it rox now :wink: , can use it as a transporter (10,000 cargobay) 2 Gamma PPC's fires hornet missles and has 2,000,000 shielding & Hull Strength to boot!

its a matter of seeing what you can and cannot do is the rush, the "ship" is secondary

besides I am OLD, and my reflexes and responses (and eye's) arnt what they once were, so I NeeD every advantage i can get! :lol:
