Ive decided to try and make a narative DiD, seems more fun then just writing before and after action reports like my last one XD
Wow, I have a Video Recorder? Hmm wonder what i should do with it? Maybe ill record my new life.. Yeah! that sounds good! hahaha ok, how should i start?
maybe an introduction.. yeah... ok here goes...
My name Is Lucifer Von Gabriel*pronounced Gab-Ri-ell*, i am.. no wait. i was a pilot of the Argon Military, Ive been in the military for most of my life.. and ive witnessed terrible things.. It wasnt the destruction of millions of lives at Presidents end at the hands of the Kha'ak that hit me most though, It was the Invasion of Politicians into the control of Argon Warfare and defence, taking an already struggling army and drowning it in regulations and enforced rules, Many Pilots left the military in disqust, and im surprised i stayed for so long, now im taking what i have and leaving. Permanantly. Im severing all ties to the Argon people, and am now going to live my life for Me, for money, and for the freedom to do what i want, Ive heard the Teladi are not all that strict when it comes to who they trade with, i think ill go to them when i need equipment or any help.
All i have to my name is This Elite M4 armed with 4 PACs and just under 2,000 Credits to my name. Time to finally make something of myself, that isnt going to end as a dead meatshield...So anyways, i decide to leave Omicron Lyrae and head out, i decide to head west to Nyana's Hideout, getting out of the Green goop that covers OMI Lyrae i make it into the nice clean space of N's Hideout, Now i am quite well versed on waht Argon Goods are in demand where, although i have to learn the Teladi Equivalent, For some reason its rather confusing for me, maybe i can ask a Freindly pilot along the way..
Well as im flying through i notice that the Solarpower plant has an excess of e-cells and the Cattle ranch has almost none, Perfect start! As i haul the first load of E-cells some trader comes in and fills the ranch about 1/4 full. hmm.. lets hope i still make a profit out of this..
well it wasnt the amount i was hoping for for a start but it'll do, as i was on the run to the ranch i saw a mission pop up for a passanger transport, if only i atleast had a cargo lifesupport system.. i might of made a few extra credits. now that that run has now been made unprofitable time to search out a few more.. as i was leaving the dock i saw another station in the distance, i came up to it and it popped up as a bakery, and its fulla meatsteaks! haha! ill buy as much as i can and find somewhere to sell later.. as i was buying i found that my cargohold isnt as huge as i would like. hmm might have to stop off at a equipment dock and upgrade this '5000 rivets in loose formation' as my old wingman used to say, i wonder what became of him? Oh well back to the matter at hand! i decide to fly back to omi Lyrae and check if any of the stations there needed any meatsteaks.
As i flew through the goop of Omi Lyrae i see *or rather dont see* that none of the stations needed meatsteaks, so instead i head off through to Treasure Chest, then Selling the meatsteaks for bout the same price than what i bought i decide to fly throught to black hole sun, after all it is the furthest Argon Outpost, so there should be a few credits that im able to make..
Oh Goody! This guy at the Equipment dock wants me to defend him from a xenon attack, now ive heard of theese flying can openers quite often, although i personally in all my military career have never fought one, so gearing my rustbucket up as much as possible i accept and wait for the Xenon armada to come through... and all that comes out are a few m's and a few n's*m4 and m5 class*, laughing as i fly towards them i notice an argon taskforce already picking them apart, laughing a little more i try to get the Xenon in range of my own weapons.
Anyways the Xenon are dead, i get 1000 Credits, plus the salvage from the Xenon ships which accounts up to

wow. for a rustbucket she can look so pretty, now im a nostalgic man, ive cared for everyship ive ever flown, from the old Persues i flew at Presidents end, to the Buster that got me to Omicron Lyrae, now i fly this Elite, and i am going to look after her till the day of parting..
Its days like theese that make me glad to be a pilot.

wow there was nothing to do here, the only mission in this sector is a patrol and im not doing that in this paperhat, so i decided to head back to Treasure chest, where a local bakery needed protection from some "shady characters", agreeing i find myself dogfighting with a buzzard, a buster and a discoverer. kicking back and leaving the autopillock to have fun i sit back and relax when i notice on the sector chart there is a ship with no real designation, apparantly its unclaimed! BOO YEAH! one shielded and complete buster sentinel, a hopeless machine but will be worth a few credits!
Entering the Goop again, i curse and fly after the buster. making sure noone disputes my ownership. heh heh
As i go to sell the buster at omicron Lyrae's Shipyard i find that i have a partially damaged discoverer there.. i have no clue how it came into my possesion, probably a stuff in their systems which i intend use to my favour ahaha, selling the buster for quite a pretty penny and the discoverer for a not so pretty penny i find i have a nice amount of cash.
Deciding i need a beer and a bottle of spacefuel i head off to a local pub where i meet my little halfbrother Gabriel! coming up to him with a bottle of beer in one hand and a bottle o spacefuel in the other i come up and ask him "beer or ur brains?"
Reaching for the beer he replied, "id prefer my brains where they are tonight."
Me and him talked for the better part of the night and i found out he bought my discoverer! and he was headed out later today, giving him a last brotherly hug i head out to my ship again, man im gonna have a hangover tomorrow.
As i was about to leave Omi Lyrae*with my hangover* i see a bunch of pirate ships sneaking through, coming in for a quick kill and hopefully a quick buck as i get behind the falcon suddenly i hear*Shields failed, hull damage, hull damage* screeching from my computer along with a huge bump sending my ship spiraling away, as i manage to right her around and reboot the computer and engines i see that what hit me was an argon heavy centaur, And i knew the pilot! he was an old freind from argon military academy, probably didnt recognise me, sigh, well time to get the repair laser out. what a start to the day.
This will be a long day.

sorry i havent posted in awhile. my net is down, i can still play the game and am but unfortunatly i cannot post immediatly, will post when i get on the net at the local internet cafe XD
as i was flying thru PTNI today i notice the shipyard in the sector, looking through their ships i notice one ive heard before,the Kestrel m5. bringing up its specs i damn near fall outta my seat. 600+!!!!! thats not a ship, thats a missle with a stop button.. i want one, but i cant buy as my teladi rep isnt the best. oh well time to get it up some!
Hm. the only mission in the sector is to bring back a jaguar with 44 mins and its in patriachs keep, Might just make it, im not sure.
nope it took me 3/4 of the time to get there, i might try upgrading the jag's speed at the local trading station, then it Might make it. if not, well any local station can hide it for me.
after flying around for awhile i got a few missions that i managed to do, one was a return ship with a 3 hour deadline, which i did quite easily as the ship was in the sector nearby.
*oh yeah, the jaguar got turned into pieces of molten slag* and a defence against Xenon, during which my beloved Rustbucket got hit down to 50% hull, time to break out the duct tape and glue!! after i repair it i decided to do some pinpoint flying into a teladi arena, as u can see it was a bit of a tight fit, and i managed to get in and out without breaking anything, WOO YEAH!
I thought about it for quite some time and i decided i needed new ways to make money, so i bought myself a mineral scanner, i still need to get that kestrel!
doing a few asteroid scanning missions, man this is easy, also i heard thru an old freind of mine that i can get a miner variant of almost all trading ships and can mine the debris from the large asteroids! voila massive cash! so here are my goals for now
1. Get a kestrel
2. get maximun engine upgrads for said kestrel along with cargo upgrade.
3. get a fleet of miner ships.
4. get a superfreighter to carry said ore.
I have alot of work to do!

i finally decided to continue this story.. sorry to all who actually DID read this...
This chapter i wrote awhile back...

oh good god, i just escaped the Xenon sector with my life, and i have to go through there on the way back
*Shudder* who woulda though can openers can be so Vicious? as i was getting chased i saw a k and a q demolish a boron armada and i couldnt even get the salvage cause of my little L freinds...
I managed to fly through the West gate into 18 Billion, flying south towards, Ianamus Zura i find the Convoy target i needed, It was Teladi....
Here i am trying to get my teladi rep up and everyone is determined to bring it down, now the choice was 150k money and loss of teladi rep, or loss of yaki rep and no money....
Sighing i Turned rustbucket around and back into 18 billion, deciding to stop off at the military outpost my mood cheered up a bit, they sold freight scanners and i had the money for one! YEAH!
now i gotta fly back through the Xenon sector again... oh Dear.

before i left i had to complete a return ship mission i started awhile back, at PTNI, the ship was in Ianimus zura... dont think she will make it back either.. i hate that sector aha
As i went to leave ianimus zura, i notice that they have a shipyard.. and it sells the kestrel.. and...
yup i bought her!
And i named her after teh first thing i did when i hit the throttle..

Before i left to go through *Shudder* the xenon sector again, i noticed that the local tomahawk fab wants protecting from teh eeeviil pirates, deciding that war is a good start to the day i agree and in fly a few harriers.. thats it? wow, this guy must be a very insecure man*or lizard* to be scared of theese guys, ill just smoke a cigar and laugh while i wait for my ship to catch up with the few busters that came with theese losers...
ten minutes and 3 holes in the station later*stupid harriers*, i am a few thousand richer, but most importatly, the teladi are happy-ier!
and now.. smart me finally put 2 and 2 together to make 3... that hermes i wanted to sell. well 'smart me' finally noticed that i COULD sell it at the shipyard THERE! *shakes head* how did i not notice that..?
anyhow. now i dont want to sell it.. im going to use it as a platform to try and recruit some Mercs.. for ship boarding... which ive never done before.. hopefully theese monkeys will be worth it.

I know, 2 chaps in one day!, ive actually had theese 2 for bout 3 weeks now, i just cbf putting pics in so i stalled*im lazy guys, i hope you all know that by now

Anywayz here you go!
today has been a busy day for me... left the dock and checked what missions are available...
nothing but a station defence damn.... offered by the local teladi trading station
so i decided to agree to this, i get the usual "You sure your ready for this pilot?"
"yeah yeah its only pirates right?"
the teladi snorts at me *or teh teladi equivalent, hard to tell with them damn lizards.*,
and i turn towards the north gate waiting for the pirates to come through.
and out comes 3 buzzard m4's, and 3 harrier m5's.. out of the east gate, and heres me in a kestrel... trivial..
needless to say, i did frak all. sat by and wasted a single harrier till he bailed and watched the rest plow into the station.
a well earned pay if u ask me! i mean, i had to break a sweat fighting that guy!*Shifty look*
saw this mission for 432 squash mines... what is this guy planning? the destruction of EVERY home planet of EVERY race? jeez man... there is a such thing as OVERKILL, and i aspire to it...
i then sent my vulture miner to great trench, to mine out the asteroid debris, only to have him fly slowely in and do NOTHING... uhh.. ok..someone space the pilot please?
The day then started to get slow
and i got bored and decided to do some exploring....
Bad Mistake..
went to home of perputuality, i thought it was a secure teladi sector.... i was wrong, it was a pirate haven, flying thru getting chased by response blastclaws i managed to pick up 2 demeter superfreighters that were attacked, actually i tell a lie, it was 2 demeters and a vulture, which didnt make it cause the blastclaw that was just finished making the last pilot of that ship bail, turned and blew it away after, anyways the other 2 demeters are stuck docked at the local bliss place... might need a few jumpdrives to dislodge those. was chased round the sector by blastclaws till i decided to leave..
FAST
Well, i flew back with my tail between my legs and my foot to the floor. RSLG the entire way...
got another mission back in ianimus zura, follow a split buster.. yeah sure... he then proceeds north.. ok... all good so far... he then turns right and heads into xenon sector 347, two seconds later...
He died.. quickly... and hopefully painfilly. dumb argnu herder.. lost me my rep and the money! grrr *twitch*
I then went flying round for awhile...
did a station defence mission, at the same time as an asteroid scanning mission also, was flipping between attacking m5's and scanning rocks... oh the joys of going 600ms...
during this time i also bought a buzzard for 200,000credits and it came with 8 IRE's and 1 1Mj shield..
was it worth it?
I then transferred the 1mj shield and 4 of the IRE's to my harrier, and suited the deathtrap up for mapping and scanning. good thing im not piloting that thing. still havent repaired it either.. eh as soon as it gets hit its gonna turn into a fireball so eh, not my problem..
sent it to great trench to scan the debris i got my vulture ATTEMPTING to mine.. seems this pilot is no better than the last... space him please. bring in the next sacrif... i mean.. pilot...
apparantly there 9 nividium in that sector.. along with 900 silicon and 900 ore... urk... will need help on how to use miners... maybe a local pilot can help.
i managed to sell the buzzard also.. for 270,000 minus the shields and weapons...
yup, was definitly worth it.

did a station defence mission, at the same time as an asteroid scanning mission also, was flipping between attacking m5's and scanning rocks... oh the joys of going 600ms...
during this time i also bought a buzzard for 200,000credits and it came with 8 IRE's and 1 1Mj shield..
was it worth it?
I then transferred the 1mj shield and 4 of the IRE's to my harrier, and suited the deathtrap up for mapping and scanning. good thing im not piloting that thing. still havent repaired it either.. eh as soon as it gets hit its gonna turn into a fireball so eh, not my problem..
sent it to great trench to scan the debris i got my vulture ATTEMPTING to mine.. seems this pilot is no better than the last... space him please. bring in the next sacrif... i mean.. pilot...
apparantly there 9 nividium in that sector.. along with 900 silicon and 900 ore... urk... will need help on how to use miners... maybe a local pilot can help.
i managed to sell the buzzard also.. for 270,000 minus the shields and weapons...
yup, was definitly worth it.
