This is a placeholder for the that I'm currently planning on writing, it will be based on my current game and will primarily be a space opera where I want to use the whole of the universe, with its dynamics, npcs and my fleet personell as background.
My persona will not play a direct part in the story as such, primarily it will be my actions that determine the way of the story and fate of the characters plus the whims of autopillock. The current draft I'm working on, have about 10 characters that you can call main with no fixed number on support cast. I like to think big.
I've mapped out some mods that I'll be using, list may change:
Lucikes scripts
IR
SRM
Advanced Jumpdrive
This list may change.
Rules:
No reloads as it would destroy the story, because if I lose a TYR then it would be a chance to write about that. 20 5* marines dead boarding a Q? Valiant sacrifice against the machine horde.
Use of cheat pack on indestructable ships/objects that GoD have placed
ETA: I got alot of exams ahead, so I think about 2 weeks time I'll drop off the first chapter if nothing goes wrong.

As a treat, heres a very short prolouge:

What makes an empire? Is it the Emperor with his skills and charisma, is it the officials that work in the background? Maybe the common man that lives on the tradelanes, living day to day carefree and always looking for a new adventure.
Or is the truth more closer to the frontlines? History shows that conflict erases and creates new lands and rulers, some say that strife is the catalyst to greatness. A few even go further, and say that nothing achieved without bloodshed is worth having.
And bloodshed is always plenty in wars. From the lowtech trench dug out on faraway planets, to the hitech spaceship, individuals and armies kill to either achieve a petty goal or a just cause.
So what makes an empire? None may be able to answer the question, but a rather unknown individual in the far corners of known space seem to have an idea. With the Xenon on the verge of overrunning the commonwealth, pirates clans wrecking havoc on trade and supply lanes, the Khaak on a genocidal crusade He have seen that to make it, he have to take it. By compliance or force.
And he's nearly ready. Deepspace factories producing equipment for war. Destroyers sent as a show of force into Commonwealth sectors, with the quiet acceptance of local authorities. Fleets being built in secret sectors far away from prying eyes. Fresh recruits flood daily towards this force that seems to call out to them "Come, and follow me on the path to destiny".
There's a new force on the galactic scene. But the way towards greatness will be long, hard and littered with sacrifices. Of his loyal subjects, some will never return home, others will be wish to return hime and many will be scarred the rest of their lives. But all will follow this man to the death if need be.
The pieces are coming together, and the wheel of fate have started to turn. Most do not know what mistress Fortuna have in store for them, but one thing is certain.
Out of the ashes, a new Empire will arise. A new beginning washed clean by the blood of heroes.
