Newbie; how do i change the price of a product

How do I change the price of a product available at a factory or at a trading station?

I want to balance out a few things that are too expensive, and others that are not expensive enough (in my opinion)

What product? You need to find the file it's in, within the types folder, then find the item and change the price and/or the price variation ( the % difference at the factory from the average price)

Keep in mind that altering the prices doesn't end there. Any price change will immediatly take effect in other things such as primary resources needed to produce one item, maximum amount stored at stations, etc. Just to give an FYI.

Ok how would i find out what file it is in? say for example the gamma impulse weapon, or silkworm missle?
