Reformated my HD £$%¬*()

Shit i thought my comp crashed last night reformatted and logged on using the old machine and discovered it was the EGO server £$£$£$£$

Apparently this caused the grief last night it affects servers only so why did my comp get corrupted ?

you reformat ou computer just because youi couldn;t get on the egosoft forums????

I was using the laptop last night when the forum went down, thought I had lost the wireless link for a short while until I tried some other sites. I havn't gone quite to the level of formatting the H/D yet, but somebody on this forum put a link to a site that came up with the reboot screen (not a real one), various failures of the system, etc. It looked very real at the time. That made me panic and press the reset button.
I was in the middle of a large download at the time
