Where can I find whisky

No I am not drunk, nor in desparate need of alcohol!

I just accepted a mission to get spatial weed and whisky, but I have no idea where to search for this heavenly potion of the gods.

To me there are no factories producing whisky, so I presume they are sold on a Pirate Base?

Can somebody indicate in which sector they sell whisky?

just find a pirate base and buy it there.. not telling you where that would spoil the fun.. but there is one above the north gate in ore belt..

Unless you take that mission early enough in the game, the pirate stations have probably run out of whisky.
Some of the pirate raiding parties like to carry a 'wee dram' with them

Considering each unit could be considered as a crate of Whisky, and a unit of Space weed is the same weight as an ounce. Menelaus must be very ill . If you have the cash you could set up you're own Space Fuel Distillary.

Obviously there's Harron's nebula, Ore belt, Atreus Clouds, priest pity, Company pride (which doesn't really count), Chins cloud, New income, Nyana's hideout and chins escape.

but later on none of them have much whisky, so if you set up a space fuel distillery in say... Elana's fortune you will get you're whisky and a tidy profit from the 4 bases that will trade with you!

As the whisky is legal in Argon sectors, you may find the odd station with it in

When I did it I bought what I could at Pirate bases first. Then I searched the sectors for pirate ships carrying whiskey, jumped to the sector and blew them up, then picked up the whiskey (assuming it survived). But to do this you need a jump drive and lots of satellites in many sectors.

One of the northern Argon sectors--bear in mind it's called Space Fuel in the game; I reckon they translated that mission wrong.

Iirc the Trading Station in Montelaar also buys/sells the stuff.

OK, found enough whisky in the space fuel factory. Indeed all the pirate bases i checked did have any whisky anymore.

You say, set up a space fuel factory. but in which sector can you buy this item. I checked the trading table database

Get the Factory from the Teladi in Seizwell. A good little earner.

take a fast ship and go to spaceweed drift. There you will find spaceweed. Fancy thant!. The good thing about this sector is there is always some goods for sale regardless where in the game you are.

Try North (and North again) from Argon Prime for space whisky.

Dock at the Boron Station with all goods on 1 ship which you are flying to complete the mission.
