Well, I got this neato idea to maybe make your own or remake X Ships/stacions in Picross 3D? And share it with us? I dunno, maybe a suggestion... Could be fun...

I am reminded of a custom ship builder I used in Galactic civilizations 2 that I thought was interesting. However, I think that a custom ship builder would probably be too complicated right now, but that's just my opinion.

Well, If you think about Track Mania, you can build really complex tracks there with simple elements. Maybe building ships using small parts which have an ability of changing size etc. would lead to AWESOME results.

You can already build your own ships, all you need it GMAX (for the modeling) and doubleshadows DBOX2 (used for get them into a format the game can understand).

And, if you go to the scripting and modding forum, you will find that there are plenty of user created ships available.

Just be forewarned that if you can't live with the ***modified*** tag, then do so may not be for you. But, if you can, you will find that there is a cornucopia of add-ons and plug-ins available to enhance your game.
