I was cruising around in my new TL, enterd "enamy sector" and found a fleet of xenon ships which proceeded to ram me... also found a xenon station in the center which wouldnt let me dock..

ok so three questions..

can you become friends with xenon I like the fighers?

if there any way to take out that fleet of xenon m2's?

there were goner ships there not getting attacked whats up with that I thought xenon hated everybody?

Yes...hornet missiles are good enough for this.

That can be fixed, just persuade them to... ahem... EJECT

As Ap said, use Hornets. Or, if your TL has a LOT of shielding, Hornet them and ram. Lather, rinse, repeat.

No idea whatsoever

Some of those M2's are faster than Hornets. You can use them if you do the 'crazy ivan' manoeuvre. I liked going into the sector in a small fast ship and hiding in the superstructure of the enemy bases. Gets those M2's very angry You have to be quick on the boost or throttle though.

Stand near the gate in a fast ship, as soon as it get near or starts to fire fly awar. I sholdnt be able to turn fast enouth.

Goners and ufo's dont seem to interact with any thing or ship.

I loaded up one of my saves last nght and bought myslef.

Split TL

10 x teladi M3's medium
10 x split m3's large
10 x Paranid m3's medium

and me in my Promy with 5 x 125mw shields (cheated) and a sh** load of hornets.

Proceded to the enemy sectors using my TL and a jumpdrive.

i then knocked 7 shades of sh** out of both enemy fleets until only one xenon M2 remained

Got all my wingmen to attack had about 25 of my 30 still functional and as soon as the damn M2 was destroyed what happens

As luck has it i saved my game just before i entered the enemy sectors so it shouldnt take me to long to lather rince and repeat as it were.

well to kill m2 i hide one side and as they go to ram you move they will hit the gate damgaing the ship as it bonces off fire some hornets.You can do the same with stastion and astorids.

Apart from "crazy ivan", which sounds good and must try...
remember Xenon are even more dumb-**sed than the Boron and Teladi.
Make sure you're in a ship faster than the M2, fly away from sector with M2 following you. Once it is following you in a straight line, slow down so that it is catching up at a steady rate. When it's about 5k away fire off your hornets (without turning to face the M2). If you got the speed and distance right, then the M2 will just run nose first into the hornets.

Anything slower than your TL can be rammed if you have the same level of shielding. I get behind the M2's in my orca, catch up until my 'nose' is over it's back and then bring my nose down sharply. Manouvering an Orca like this can be tricky. Try taking the ball out of your mouse and moving the rollers with your fingers. Simply ramming the ship won't work, it's shields recharge faster than yours so you have to do it in one hit.

The Xenon will keep attacking the nearest ship they can find. f you're in the sector long enough they will all come after you and everything else will get through.

I just blew up the Xenon Space station and Shipyard.....well shipyard after camping right outside the entrance and watching the Xenon ships run into the side of the docking bay cos you're firing at them before they leave....it's funny....then.....KABOOM!!! .......BTW what's with the M0 class ship? I destroy it and my rating hadn't changed at all?
Oh, and for some strange reason after I entered the enemy sector (north of Black hole Sun) and survived long enough ships started to come trhu like a normal trade route.....strange? or just me?

Bad move destroying the Xenon shipyard as you notice that the X universe becomes very boring due to the Xenon being unable to spawn ships. Once the remaining ones are gone, thats it.
