Pilots in and around the northern jumpgate in Black Hole Sun were furious yesterday as a Paranid Hercules had positioned itself close to the entrance of the northern enemy sector.
Split Pilots, Cho't Nnt and Lau't Hnk narrowly missed certain death as their wolf class fighter craft disintegrated on the shields of the Hercules TL which was in a stationary position some short distance in front of the jumpgate
"We had just traversed the enemy sector and on entering Black Hole Sun were confronted immediately by the huge hull of a Paranid Hercules which we were unable to avoid", said Chot Nnt. "Me and my wingman Lau't Hnk managed to obviously eject from our ships, but the pilot from the Split Mule that we were escorting unfortunately wasn't so lucky.
An Argon Elite pilot Ulla Hang was able to verify the split pilot’s statements with our reporter
and he stated that "I was about to ask permission to dock at the trading station in Black hole Sun
when a triple flash of light caught my attention from the northern jump gate, thinking that some xenon were causing mischief I engaged full speed and went over to investigate. As I neared the jump gate I noticed that a stationary Hercules TL was in a rather dangerous position just in front of the gate and I attempted to hail the pilot to warn him of his stupidity but I received no reply. A few moments later I noticed the two split pilots who were in distress, so after some hasty bargaining and an agreement on credits I rescued them”.
A spokesman for the Argon sector (Mr.Ban Hang) said that on a number of occasions an as yet unidentified number of TL's had been observed performing the same irresponsible acts not only in this sector but others as well and it was only a matter of time before the pilot’s (or pilot) were apprehended
