God speaks to me

So, there I was, happily minding my own business and directing meteorites onto people's houses in Sim City 4, when a blinding light appears and who should appear behind me, having a close-up look of my Farscape DVD collection, than God.

"Hello." Said I in a slightly bemused tone.

"Oh, hello my son." Said God in a jovial manner. "Nice collection you have here."

"Thanks." I replied.

"Say, ElectricMonk." Began The Lord. "Did you ever sit down and think why I've taken such a great interest in humanity and why the bible refers to humans as my greatest creation?"

"Not really."

"Well, it's because you're all so hilarious! Moses and I like to do nothing better than sit down on a nice fluffy cloud and laugh our bottoms off at your race's, quite frankly, stupid antics. Moses saw a real cracker the other day. Wanna hear it?"

"OK" I answered, hanging on to every divine word.

"Well, you know we have this egosoft forum malarkey, as Jamie Oliver would say, we really like to have a look every now and again and we just can't stop laughing at the fact that every newbie that appears on the forum always asks when X2 will be released and they never think to look at the website or read past newsletters to find out. Moses and I really do wet ourselves sometimes."

At this point I frowned at him. "I find that litte facet of the forums extremely annoying, to be honest." I said.

"Quite so, and that's why I'm here today." Continued the wrathful deity. "St. Peter feels the same way, and if you don't post a message to the egosoft forums outlining this concern in a long, boring and overly obnoxious way, then he's going to cross your name off the list of people who can pass into my kingdom."

"Aww, crap." I said dejectedly.

"Well, those are the terms, take them or burn for all eternity in non-consuming flame, it's up to you really."

And with that, he was gone.

I suspect the only reason he never visited me is because i dont have the Farscape dvd collection. :(
...and the whole 'me being evil' thing. :/

Yes. It's true we do have a website, but Egosoft must be putting everything into X2 development because as we all know, it's out of date.

Once they secure a publisher, I would like to see the front page updated to reflect anticipated release, pre-order etc. It would also be productive to publish some links to the favourable pre-release reviews now starting to come out.

I agree that the egosoft website does need a bit of a polish, but the information pertaining to the release date is still there. If the site looked a bit better, maybe people would be encouraged to find the information for themselves rather than immediately ask us and not bother doing their homework.
