X3TC - A Way to Disable the Mouse-pointer

Completely; like in earlier games.

I was thinking something along the lines of a registry edit if not an option I've overlooked but regardless fire away if it's possible, and thanks in advance for your trouble.

I believe Shift + N will change to classic flight mode. the pointer will disappear but moving the mouse will steer the ship (don't shoot me if I'm wrong I haven't tried it)

You could always unplug the mouse.

I did consider that, but I'd rather not brave the almighty tangle that manages to build at the back of my pc. It's got to the point where it eats cable tidies!

reconfigure your settings

spacebar-> classic flightmode (boresight)
shift N-> new consolemode( :roll: )

other then that i don't know why you should disable your mouse...
keyboard works same as in Reunion, i don't use something else.
you could also mod the mousepointer invisible...

Are you talking about disabling the mouse pointer to make a X4TC video?

I sense no S&M within the discussion, and doubt that there is much chance to mod the cursor image from arrow to single transparent pixel.

Therefore, *** moved from X3TC S&M ***

No control mode disables mouse control. I would've already made it invisible if I knew where to start, but now I doubt anyone else does either.

Naw, I'd turn off the HUD entirely for that, which is simple enough.
