what happens to heros?
since Ego never settled this I felt I had to..lol.

Ok, since TC didnt do this I felt I had to for my own sanity..lol..
"What happens to Heros?"
The ship stopped at the best restaurant in Argon Prime and a very dapper looking Julian and Saya got out. They walked through the door and into the restaurant where they were recognised immediately.
"OH, Mr. Brennan great to see you again, I believe your fathers waiting on you at his resevered table, shall I escort you there?" the waiter asked as Julian smiled and shook his head.
"No thank you, Franz, we know the way by now," he said as the man bowed slightly and walked away. Julian took Saya's arm and they started that way and Saya stopped to say hello to an old friend and give his wife a hug, she turned around for a second and saw Julian stepping close to a news monitor close by and she stopped dead,'oh no,' she thought and stepped in close to him as he looked away from the monitor and into her eyes.
"What?" he asked inocently as she stared deep into his eys.
"NO, you promised," she said as he looked away for a second.
"But its a whole new area, one of Earths old colonys, dont you feel the least bit curious about whats going on? They say the Terrans are being a little heavyhanded out there and the Aldrians are...." he started as she stepped in and kisssed him lightly, in front of all the room, as a few people smiled and a few cameras went off.
"Theres enough news for us, you said we'd be just common Argon business owners when I moved in, you promised me you could give up all this combat stuff, dont you want a family some day?" she asked as his resolve disapeared and he smiled.
"Of course I do, are we going to tell our parents tonight?" he asked as she smiled, that was better, and she took him by the arm and they waved at friends as they walked to the table resevered for the Terran Ambassador, Kyle Brennan.
"Nice, the news got a few good pictures of you two making out in public," Elana said smiling as julian laughed and Saya got embarassed.
"SO, "Kyle said smiling," see the news I asume." and the table turned towards him with assorted serious stares.
"We can even TALK bout it now?" he asked as the women started to laugh.
"I need to go..power my nose, coming?" Elana sasked as Saya nodded and they left for a minute.
"I guess this means this is all the time we get for talking about the news." Kyle said as Julian chuckled.
"They're right you know," Kyle said softly as Julian nodded agreement.
"We're lucky men and we shouldnt start looking for excitment every time the news comes on, but its hard after all we've done and been through." he said as Julian raised his glass in a toast.
"Amen to that," and they had a drink.
"So I see Saya has you on a short leash," Kyle said smiling as Julian laughed.
"ME!?" he said as they both chuckled again, it was true the girls wanted some time for family and security and they had to get used to it.
"I think it'll be ok....out there..." Kyle said nodding to the monitor as Julian nodded," and theres a whole generation of new people going to see. Argon will be well represented I'm sure." he said and they both nodded a little sadly. They sat for a minute thinking to themselves and said nothing waiting on the women to return.
"So he stills daydreams heh?" Elana asked as Saya smiled and nodded.
"It's getting better he hardly ever mentions things like that anymore." she said looking serious for a minute as Elana gave her a hug.
"They're the men we fell in love with, and we knew what we were in for, just be patient, I think Julians doing quite well considering." she said as Saya laughed, she had to watch him every minute.
"So, are you going to anounce tonight about having children?" Elena asked as Saya looked her way all smiles.
"How did you know that?" she aksed as Elana laughed.
"Im your mother, I'm suposed to know these things." she said as Saya smiled and nodded.
"When are you going to have the implant removed?" she asked candidly as Saya face grew red.
"A week ago this Monday," she said as Elana looked around suddenly with a huge grin.
"Sneaky," she said as Say shrugged and they hugged.
"Its a wonderful new world for us and they understand they helped make it this way, all we need to do is keep them happy and well controled and maybe the next generation of Brennans can be the heros." she said as Saya rolled her eyes and laughed. The past was just that and the future was bright as they retired to a more normal life, and Julian and Kyle took their places as argon business men like many generations before them.
But, but I HAD too really..lol

Which, by the way, will be quite monumentally important in Von Neumann's Children- it's assumed that he is very much NOT retired.
