Lost my Starting points

I reinstalled windows the otherday, but backup the X3 TC folder and the egosoft folder in My Documents.

Reinstalled X3 TC and copied save games across and scripts, but I want to start from a new starting point, but only have the 4 normal ones. Is there a way of getting the others back?

I loaded up a saved game, moved around for a bit and saved again, but no new saved games.

I've copmleted the Terran Missions and currently a Capatlist and a Vindicator.

Nearly maxed with Argon, Split, Teladi and not far off with Boron and Paranid.

The gamestarts are stored in the registery, so unless that was backed up too, they are lost. It is possible to 'hack' the registry entry, but I don't know if someone has done it for X3TC yet.

If you have used a registry cleaner in the past, those usually create a backup of the registry. Perhaps one of those was backed up somewhere.
