"Attention, energy low" ; Shut up B!t<h

Post by Storm_Front »

Title edited a little

Tired of running low on laser energy, or maybe you just want to shut the computer up. The 11'th number from the left in the Tlasers file is total laser energy. (1000=A-IRE.,.8000=G-HEPT,etc) Simply doubling the number should give you plenty of energy, maybe triple on high drain weapons like orbital laser weapon.
In addition, the second number to the right of "9001" in the Tbullets file is the weapons energy usage rate. (could be per shot, per second, or who knows) Good hunting and great profit to you.

He's wrong anyway. Even with verbose turned off you still get the low energy warning.

In my Experience with the verbose computer when I turned it off, I notced it in stations mostly while looking at ships if I hit the info key I can read the text but I dont get the history lesson. I dont mind havin Betty with me in the cockpit but there are limits...One warning that my patrol in ore belt is under attack is enough! seems about every ten seconds it repeats.. even that is tolerable but when you have several ships in different sectors well.. I just turn off the sound for a bit. A broader range of options would have been better in the sound. Maybe it will happen.

And maybe when it does happen we'll get camouflage devives and self-repairing hulls as well.

Maybe an additional option in the coms menu of each ship that says "disable 'under attack' signal for this ship"? That way you can set what you want to hear is under attack, and what isn't.
