Bug when using autopilot?

Post by XmasB »

When using the autopilot my Sabre will only go 22m/s, even though max speed is 275m/s. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I can't play the game without autopilot... So right now, I'm not playing at all.

You don't need autopilot for much. Just docking. It's easier (and safer) to fly manually.

I assume your ship is not critically damaged, so, as BlkKnight said, see if anything is set to following you. Try pressing "r" while flying, to bring up the property menu. Then check your ships' commands. If something is following you, one of the columns of one of the ships would read "Follow... Player" or something like that.

Yes, I have a few ships following me. So the autopilot adjusts speeds accordingly? I t would think they just came tagging along... :) Ok, I will try without any ships following. Thanks for the quick reply- I'm starting to really like this communiy.
