A patch problem (maybe)

OK so when I updated my game to 1.21 when I first got it all was well, then I decided to update to 1.4 so I used the check for update thing from TCs Menu so I patched up. But then I noticed that it was 1.0 to 1.4 but my game was 1.2 will that hurt?

Also where does one find boarding pods? I cant seem to find them at all. I thought the patch fixed it so they are sold at military outposts.
But I cant find any. Any help?

No, the update will not do any harm. Once you've updated your game it will be easier to find boarding pods

I did look at a Military Outpost (the one in BHS) as I stopped to buy some marines and did not see any I thought that this had to do with how I patched up. Will check pirate bases too then.
