Go to your profile and down the bottom there's a "link to offsite avatar". Put the URL of the image in there and submit. Every post you've ever made will automatically have your avatar in it so you don't have to make seperate tests.

I have just tried to add a picture to my posts,i followed what was said but i could not submit my picture because i do not know how to point the url to my folder (my pictures) were the bloody picture is,please excuse the lanquage as i have been trying for the last hour.any help getting my picture on the posts would be warmly recieved thanks Dennis

You need to upload the pic to a web-server dennis(not anglefire or geocities, theye don't allow external linking ..)
