I just saw that standing.... I know it is possible a bit late etc :P.

Yet when i start up x3:TC in vista it does not yet have a real openal support. (with alchemy i have better sound :) )

MY question when is that openal feature from X3:reunion linux being forward ported too x3:tc windows ?

I like too have all kind of sound effects when playing under vista :P

Not really. The Linux port of X²/X³ was done by Linux Game Publishing, Egosoft has no access to their code.
So the only chance for Vista victims is to wait for Creative ALchemy to support TC. :wink:

iirc (and I could be wrong) there have been CTD problems with Alchemy and TC.

TC is not (yet) officially supported by ALchemy...

I've been using Alchemy for months now using the same settings that are used for Reunion without a problem.
