Help im stuck in a mission(Now solved)

I got the mission "our inteligence says xenon are coming, protect our tl" or something like that. I killed all the xenon and went to pick up my credits. I didnt get a message. I left it a while and after two hours, nothing. Now its been over 15 hours but I havent had a mesage. How can i stop the mission

where's the tl? you anywhere near it? you follow it? it get destroyed?

i am near the factory but it shold have done its thing by now. I havent got the mesage "You failed to protect our ship"

lots of times. Should i find him and kill him. I cant get any other missions like this

did you save before you stated the mission... I always do--just because im a little paranoid...I save like every 5 mins.....):lol:

I don't think killing him wil help..

all i can tell you is to look in your log- which im sure you've done.....sorry buddy...

killing the ship you are to protect will probably trigger a fail on the mission. I had a similar problem in Brennans Triumph and eventually just left the sector. About 5 hours later I got the mission failed message after someone whacked the TS.

When you kill it try and do it quickly to avoid the station going red.

You know, i did get bored yesterday and started killing the argon. I looked at my log and the mission ended but i cant remember destroying TS's

I presume it will have a time-out clause to ensure that you dont get permanently stuck in the mission and presumably you played for long enough to trigger the timeout.

Look in your logbook find the ship ID and find the ship, this is your only hope!!!

maybe the TS landed in one of the Stations you destroyed (IF you have destroyed some)?
I think the Mission fails,when the fly-time (the time,the ship flies in the space) reaches 9 hours.
When a CPU-ship flies longer than 9 hours in space,the time-counter beginns @ zero again.
And this can be the moment,where the game notices,that the ship isnt there anymore and the mission fails.....

I didnt save the game after destroying some argon, i was just mucking about. Do you think i would rearly destroy the argon empire.

ive done it. This is rearly wiered. I looked in the sector for that ship and there it was, it was flying around normaly. But then it started acting strange. The ship was moving up and down the sector map list rearly quickly. It also was changeing its destination every few minutes or so. I tried to lock on to it but nothing happened to it. I looked at its home base and looked at the owned ship menu. It wasnt there. I tried to pin point it on the map and fly to it but it didnt exist. It was practicaly a ghost ship.
Now i looked at my log book."You failed to defend a ship" I was never so happy to see that message.Im now playing missions again

strange but at least the mission has ended and you can get other ones.
