when I double clicked the I-con then

chinese messages are came out

i think may be this is cd-key attestation

but I can't attestation at all

now what i do??

There might be a natural explanation: You are Chinese!

Obviously the error sounds very obscure. Has anyone here had the same problem?

Can you describe it a bit more? I.e. is it simply a box with Chinese characters in and an 'ok' button? Or does anything more happen?

These are the drivers for the copy protection software. From the fact that it comes up as soon as you try to run it, the problem might lie there. If you download the drivers (tagessetup.exe), and run it, does it say that they have installed or uninstalled successfully?

I'm not a chinese and even X3:TC doesn't support chinese

tagesis running perfectly but when i start X3:TC(X3:RE is running normel)

named X3TC- @ctiv program begin and all writed chinese

and i pushed button looks like next and number and spell

writed in 5 blank (may be this looks like my CD-key isn't it?)

and i push next(same button) again then 2 selection button came out

i selected first one and cames X3TC - @ctiv.htm

second one is loading something and says

"locate has been cut by remotehost" and finished

it is all what i got plz help me...

Hi,

Try downloading the latest Tages drivers and use the steam verify facilty to make sure the installation is correct.

Although I did see that the Tages servers were down so I wonder if it might be that it can't verify the copy protection.

Might be worth trying again.

The Tages servers should be back up now (thread), and it doesn't sound like the problems described for that.

X3TC- @ctiv is part of the Tages activation process, as far as I know.

have you verified the game cache as its a steam version.. you have the ability to check it against the steam server files, its worth doing as with any download the files can become corrupted, bring up your steam games list.. right click on the game name and select properties, select the tab for local files and you will see the button for "Verify Integrity of game cache"

it might not fix it but its worth a try as it takes about 30 seconds to run
